For those experiencing financial hardship
For many women, especially those working through childhood trauma, having regular, consistent sessions can make the process feel more supportive.
It creates a rhythm.
A place to come back to each week where things don’t have to be held together or managed alone.
For a lot of women, early relationships didn’t always feel steady or safe.
Over time, that can shape how you experience closeness, trust, and connection.
Part of this work is having a different experience of relationship.
One where you don’t have to perform, anticipate, or get it right…
and where your system can begin to settle, little by little.
Your nervous system learns through repetition.
Not through insight alone, but through experience.
Coming each week, to the same space, with the same person, begins to build a sense of familiarity and safety.
Over time, this can gently shift how your body responds—
not just in sessions, but in your everyday life and relationships.
It’s not about forcing change.
It’s more like allowing your system to learn that things can be different now.
This doesn’t have to be forever.
As things begin to feel more settled, we can look at what feels right for you moving forward.

If you'd like to stay in contact and hear more about the outdoor therapy I offer in Newcastle and Maitland and other therapist musings, I'd be honoured if you'd sign up for my Midlife Musings email list. It's a gentle space that I use to reflect and share resources, and you would be MOST welcome!
No Spam. I don't send emails out more than once a week (unless I am promoting one of my Mindfulness in Nature groups, Women's Groups or book clubs).
